What’s the right name?
Technically, the correct version is Null’s Brawl — with two “L”s and an apostrophe. However, the simplified version Nuls Brawl also sounds acceptable. Both names are in use, but the most recognizable and “official” form remains Null’s Brawl, exactly how the server was named from the start and how it became popular.
Where did the name “Null’s” come from?
When our team was just starting out, we were a group of passionate programmers. In programming, the term null means “empty value” — a symbolic choice for us. We were building alternative servers and needed a name that hinted at game modifications but didn’t sound like “hacking.” That’s how the combination Null’s + the second part of the game’s title was born.
Our first project was Null’s Clash, and later came Null’s Brawl.
